EEA Family permits will not be valid after 30 June 2021.
Many holders of the permits are unaware that they need to apply before 30 June 2021. Holders of the EEA permit who do not register could become ‘unlawful migrants’ on 1 July 2021.

EEA Family Permits not valid after 30 June 2021
EU Nationals in the UK should please note that EEA family permits will not be valid after 30 June 2021. Not even if there is still ‘valid time’ left on the EEA family permit.
From 30 June 2021, it will no longer be possible to apply for the permit from outside the UK.
The Home Office has confirmed this by clearly stating that the EEA family permit is ending. After 30 June 2021, they will no longer be valid, and no new applications will be accepted. Even if a person has time left on the EEA family permit beyond 30 June 2021, it will not be valid.
EU Settlement Scheme available to EEA Family Permit Holders
Holders of the EEA Family Permit must apply under the EU Settlement Scheme before 30 June 2021. This application will prevent them from becoming unlawful in the UK.
If your eligible family member was living in the UK by 31 December 2020, they can apply under the EU Settlement Scheme to continue living here after 30 June 2021. If the close family member came here after 1 January 2021, they would normally have to apply for a visa in their own right to live and work in the UK.
Persons in the above situation have to apply for Settled or Pre-Settled status before 30 June 2021. Applying under the EUSS will be the only way to continue a lawful stay in the UK.
