The Home Office has increased the visa application fees for some UK Visa types on 6 April 2022.
Although nobody likes fee increases, fortunately, the fee increases are marginal. The fee increases are between £5 and £15 for some visa types. The only increase more than that was £30 for the priority visa service for non-settlement applications submitted outside the UK. This increase will also only come into effect on 10 May 2022. Furthermore, for some visa categories, there were no fee increases.
The table below shows the fee increase for some popular UK visa types.
|UK Visa Type||Fee Increase from 6 April 2022|
|Visitor Visa – short stay||£5|
|Visitor Visa – long stay||£15|
|Global Talent Visa||£15|
|Skilled Worker Visa||£15|
|Indefinite Leave to Remain||£15|
